Especially for Dreamy Place youโre invited to explore the Victorian Cab Road tunnel that runs beneath Brighton Railway Station.
Usually off limits to the public, the secret 80-metre tunnel will be transformed into an immersive installation of sound, video and light.
For three days only the tunnel will be transformed into a luminescent landscape with sounds by Chinese artist GUAN as part of a collaborative installation co-created and produced by artist Thomas Buckley.

WARNING: Strobing lights (not safe for people with epilepsy or light sensitivity) and uneven floors (please be careful when walking in the tunnel as it is also dark) – please be aware before entering the space.

What to expect
This is an exciting and rare opportunity to visit this 80-metre tunnel under Brighton Railway Station. The tunnel will be transformed into an exhibition installation of sound, video and light. There will be strobing lights, which means the experience is unsafe for people with light sensitivities such as epilepsy.
The tunnel will be free to enter, no booking is required. There will be stewards upon arrival at the entrance of the tunnel (which is next to Brighton Toy Museum). The entrance will be clearly marked with a festival flag positioned outside the main doors. Originally built for horse drawn taxis to take passengers to and from the station platforms, please note that the floor of the tunnel is cobbled and uneven in places.
